Coarse dark beige froth covers only half the beer. Just barely translucent dark red body. Earthy fruity chocolatey aroma with wooden hoppy notes. Dry-sweetish earthy dusty cocoa taste with fruity notes. Mild mouthfeel. Light body. Dryish earthy wooden resiny aftertaste. Quite nice. Not too pleased with chocolate/fruit clash, but still a good beer. (0.5l bottle, RealAle.com.)
