We strive to deliver the highest quality beer from traditional styles and brewing techniques, to pushing modern boundaries and combining a range of brewing experience, with a passion for innovation.

We work with a progressive mindset with community, sustainability, collaboration, and taste at the heart of what we do.

Founded in 2000 as Oakleaf Brewery. Late in 2016 Oakleaf went into administration, a buy out package was arranged and the brewery was re-launched in 2017 as Fallen Acorn.

Closed April 2023 due to economic pressure.

Cask stillage (Bitter Virtue, Southampton) - Amber in colour. Grapefruit and pineapple in the aroma. Hoppy taste with grapefruit, tea and pineapple. The finish is bitter and very refreshing.

500ml Bottle - Copper coloured. Fruity and slightly hoppy aroma with hints of raisins and fruit cake. Fruity taste with a slightly tart and dry element. The taste features dried fruit and plums.

Cask (Giddy Bridge JDW, Southampton) - Brown with red tinges. Fruity and slightly vinous aroma with dried fruit, caramel and chocolate. Fruity and rich taste with notes of dried fruit and chocolate. Nicely balanced.

Cask (Giddy Bridge JDW, Southampton) - Gold/amber with a white head. Slightly hoppy aroma with hints of tea and malt. Hoppy and fruity taste with tea, grapefruit and some peppery malt notes. The finish is bitter and rather dry.

Bottle Hazy, deep black bod. Lightly brown, creamy head. Aroma of coffee, liquor, molasses, chocolate: very nice and complex. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour.

Cask (handpump) @ The Star Inn, Huddersfield, England. @ [ The Star Inn Summer Beer Festival ]. This would have been a boring citric hoppy blond ale, but hey decided to add some chilli flavor in it (probably more than they intended) making it almost undrinkable. Nice palate destroyer :D I love spicy food, and I love beer however this mixture was a fail.

Cask@GBBF2009. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, mild barnyard, wood, coffee and chocolate. Flavour is nuts, caramel, dark fruits, old coffee and some mild ashy ntoes as well.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Nut brown color, small white head. Chocolaty aroma, some raisins. A bit fruity flavor with caramel and coffee. Light palate. Decent traditional mild.
