We strive to deliver the highest quality beer from traditional styles and brewing techniques, to pushing modern boundaries and combining a range of brewing experience, with a passion for innovation.

We work with a progressive mindset with community, sustainability, collaboration, and taste at the heart of what we do.

Founded in 2000 as Oakleaf Brewery. Late in 2016 Oakleaf went into administration, a buy out package was arranged and the brewery was re-launched in 2017 as Fallen Acorn.

Closed April 2023 due to economic pressure.

Bottled. "A bottle conditioned lager" with CAMRA’s logo "this is REAL ALE" ... hmm, interesting. Slightly hazy golden - orange color, cloudy white head. Buttery, woody, hoppy nose. Despite the name - it tastes bitter. Starts watery, then the burst of lime comes in. Citric hoppy aftertaste.

Cask gravity at Blakes, Dover. I thought this was a house badge beer as the beer is called Blake’s and so is the pub in Dover. But no! This gives me another rating. Ha ha! Good seasonal dark winter warmer with good malt and some bitterness

Bottle picked up from the brewery in June 2005 (added from notes June 2005) Golden coloured beer malty aroma and also a bit sweet, taste is fruity, bit toffeeish with some hops very good suprisingly stronger than it tastes.

Bottle picked up from the brewery in June 2005 (added from notes June 2005) Pours quite dark brown with quite a big head, malty aroma quite poky in strength nice roasty toasty flavours as well, quite intriguing beer very tasty.

Cask handpull at Catford BF 06. Cascade hoppy aroma, definitely US hop style. Chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Really good bitter. Bit of sherbert in mouth. Would like more of this. Nice enough with some caramel, but the hops are the real winner.

Cask gravity at Catford BF 06. Deep brown/ruby with bubbly beige head. Odd meaty aroma, bit like pate. Quite a strong bitter, some malt, but a bit syrupy in the end.

A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with some notes of hops. The flavor is also sweet malty with light fruity notes, leading to a hoppy end.

Cask at Merton Summer Beer Festival 2005 (retrospectively added from diary notes) This is a cracker, nice crisp clean taste, very refreshing, stunning hop aroma. Popped into the brewery 3-4 weeks before this beer festival, found them to be a wonderful bunch of very dedicated individuals.
