Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017 - London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds rich rosemary, ginger, lemon peel. Light to medium sweet flavour with more herbs, ripe lemon. Medium bodied and lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with further herbal qualities. OK overall.

12oz can pours a clear, dark amber, spitty white head. Nose has dates and prunes, malt, pumpernickel. Some caramel happening that slides into the flavor, dried fruits are heavies now, fruit cake too. Full bodied and sweet finish.

DC Share. Poured a dark, but clear brown color with a wispy, off-white head. Aroma was semi-sweet malts, with a bunch of figgy fruits. Dried fruit, sweet malt, but not sickly sweet. Creamy. Pleasant stuff.

Can at share: pours brownish with beige head. Aroma is yeast, dark fruit, butterscotch. Taste is lightly bitter, sweet, dark fruitiness. quite bitter in the finish.

Florals and fig, a little sweet tobacco. Mahogany pour with ok head. Light tangy finish, and some sweetness. Can.

12oz can. Burgundy brown body. Somewhere between a Dubbel and Quad in flavor. Perhaps a hint of amber malt in there. Rich, flavorful, rather drinkable for the ABV. Good.

Tap at BA. Fruity. The huell melon hops are big, and take this in odd directions. Really poorly executed beer, sad to see TBA at this level. Mess of a base beer, sort of like they lagered a Belgian yeast. Nail in the coffin type beer. Cheers to the good times Brewer's Art, your current beers are crap.

Tap at BA in 2022..this was sooo much better a dozen years back. I don't know what's going on with the cherries, but it doesn't work this time. Oily, mineral, rather gross devolved fruit tone..you'd never blind guess cherry. Cherry blossom mildness, awkward young tasting Belgian Brown underneath. Not so good.
