Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of grapefruity hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrusy hops and malt, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

cloudy ornage, small thick white head. aroma is hoppy, bitterhoppy, floral hoppy, flavor is sweet, flowery, hoppy. faint spicy. tastes nice, but not the usual DIPA:

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours dark golden with a small white head. Aroma is dry pine wooden and dry hoppy. Dry wooden and fruity hoppy flavoured. Smooth and crisp bitterness coming through. Ends dry.

Bottle 50cl.Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy spicy, cinnamon and cardamom, flowers, perfume. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft. [20090527]

Medium brown head. Nearly opaque black body. Roasty earthy chocolatey aroma with pine needle and vinegar notes. Dry roasty chocolatey taste with resiny vinegar notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dry roasty chocolatey aftertaste with fain vinegar notes. Not bad, but too mild and vinegary for me. Kind of odd. (0.2l taster at Øl & Mat ’09, Oslo.)

Medium white head. Hazy opaque deep yellow body. Mild fruity spicy aroma. Dryish milky ashy taste with spicy grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dry spicy grassy aftertaste with mild banana notes. Quite nice, and very drinkable, but a bit boring. (0.2l taster, Øl & Mat ’09, Oslo.)

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Mild spiced, yeasty, caramel and slight liqourice to vague smoke notes. Sweet caramelish, fruity and light yeasty flavoured. Mild acidic and bitter flavoured. Spiced and medium dry finish.
