Amber hazy color, good off-white head, some lace. Good flowery hoppy aroma, at least some American varities used. Medium-bodied, average hoppy clean IPA with grapefruit flavors. Flowerness of hops is nice, some lemon and pinewood needles in the finish. Solid, session IPA.

Bottle. Orange body under a dense, off-white head, diminishing rather quickly. There’s yeast sediments in the bottle, but didn’t pour much of them, leaving the body quite clear. Too weak aroma with fruityness and some pine and resin. Pine and resin are present in the flavor as well, and so is a little citrus, some fruityness and a good bitterness. Medium to full body and a citrusy and piney finish with a good bitterness. The beer is maybe a bit too resiny, and there’s something undefined I can’t pin, but it’s a nice beer. Maybe a bit one-dimentional hoppy too. Meaning that the hops do most of the beer, leaving the malts only to leave body and not much flavor. (071027)

Medium offwhite yellowish head. Amber body with yeast particles. Sharpish pine needle hop aroma with fruity, citric hop notes and some roastiness. Deep sharpish roasty citric pine needle taste with notes of wood. A bit thin-bodied, but clean and harmonic. Dry resiny medicinal aftertaste. Impressive that the hop aromas have stood up so well after storing it for 5-6 months. A very good IPA. (0.5l bottle from SuperBrugsen, Ordrup. BBD 2007-11-20.)
