Sample from bottle at CBF 2013. Orange colour, moderate white head. Moderate but nice aroma of American hops, also notes of honey and over-ripe berries. The flavour has a moderate malty sweetness with a little caramel, followed by moderate American hops, some bitterness in the aftertaste. A beer that won’t offend anyone, but has nothing to blow your socks off.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, coffee, molasse, roasted malt. Flavour is alcohol, licorice, coffee, molasse, roasted malt, chocolate. Nice beer.

Pours clear deep golden with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, some spice and honey?. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. An almost clear, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. Spiced, yeasty aroma with fruityness. Something reminiscent of honey too, even though the label doesn’t declare honey. Sweet flavor with honey, yeast and fruityness. Medium body, semi-dry, soft and a bit low carbonation. Fruity, lightly yeasty finish with some spiced hints and hops. Bottle, thx to thewolf. A clear, copper body with a creamy, beige head on top. Sweet and malty nose, with a fruity and hoppy aroma as well. Slightly cellarish flavor with sweetness, malt, some beefstock, grains and some fruit. Full, sweetish mouthfeel. Maybe too sweetish. Warming as well. Sweet and bitter finish. A quite nice beer, sure needing its hops, as it is a rather sweet one. (080301)

500 ml bottle. Hazy amber body with a thin tan head. Nice aroma with lots of oranges with hint of caramel and ginger. Flavor is sweet, caramel malt, dry fruit, moderate bitterness and some kind of fruity orange flavor in the cross line between oranges and ginger. Fine body and long aftertaste. A bit unusually and definitively not a typical bock, but tasty and quite refreshing with an interesting flavor, no faults. I just enjoyed this one today..

500 ml bottle. Dark brown body with a nice beige head. Aroma has malt, light roasted caramel, dry fruit and Belgium yeast. Flavour is sweet and smooth malt, dry fruit, burnt sugar and Belgium yeast. Medium body and fine aftertaste. Nothing super complex, but well-made and tasty. It might have something to do with time & place (and specially the cheese!) but this beer surprised me as a really nice treat.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty spicy grainy flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty spicy grainy finish.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. THe aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish.
