Bottle, 5.6%. Fruity aroma. Cloudy pale yellow colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is fruity at first, has a sharp orange peel bitterness, an almost lactic acidity, unclean, but not that sharp. Watery and dry finish. Perhaps good as a thirst quencher on a hot summer’s day, but not a really good and flavourful experience.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and banana with notes of hops. Sourish, milky, acidic flavour with notes of hops, orange peel and yeast. Dryish aftertaste. Nothing special but possibly enjoyable on a warm summer’s afternoon.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops with distinct citric and flowery notes. Intense, bitter, hoppy flavour with pronounced notes of citrus. A little watery. Dry, perhaps too bitter, aftertaste. Not bad, just anonymous.

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Deep amber, close to black, colour with a small brown head. Aroma is wood, mild toasted notes as well as some ripe fruits. Flavour is fruity, wooden, toffeeish and some mild toasted notes.

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Honeyish golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, nectary, caramelly and some mild herbal notes. Flavour is resin, wood, nectar and some alcoholl. Balanced and very nice.

As Jydske Bryghuse Bourbon Stout at ØK 13, thanks to fonefan for sharing. Dark, almost black coloured body. Decent tan-coloured head. Vanilla oak nose with dark malts. Comprehensive flavour of coffee, oak and liquorice. Bittersweet finish. Tingling alcohol where the semi-dry Jack Daniels taste is present. Pleasing as a sipper (Copenhagen, 25.05.2013).

DØE. As Jydske Bryghuse Bourbon Stout. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted moderate bitter finish. 240513
