Bottled. Cloudy amber, brief head. Sweet and caramelly. Full bodied with soft mouthfeel and notes of grass. Dominated by toffee and caramel. A warming, very English style barley wine.

Bottled. Hazy pale nutbrown colour, huge creamy off-white head and lots of lace. Aroma of honey, spices, hay and malts. Flavour is malty and hoppy mainly. Some spices and sweetness in the background also. Quite nice.

Bottled 2006 vintage (BB 02/2007). Hazy amber color, good off-white head, lace. Malty, woody, notes of brown sugar, kind of harsh nose. Fruity and quite yeasty. A bit spicey - maybe that’s "lindeblomst" there. Soft mouthfeel, medium-bodied. Drinkable, but kind of uninteresting.

Bottle. Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Golden amber colour. Powerfull hoppy aroma. Very citrus and caramellic. OK flavor, but a little thin finish. Nice oily palate. I really like this beer.

Red/Amber with a lasting creamy head and some lacing. Malty aroma of the deep, bready municher kind, with some fruity notes and a hint of hops. Malty sweet flavour, little fruityness, with some bitterness (2006: but with some sharp off-taste). Very full mouthfeel. I miss the hops of the best alt-biers, on the other hand, it’s got Octoberfest maltiness that works just fine with the harvest name.

Bottled. Clear, golden with an off-white head. Piney and hoppy nose with malt and fruits. Hoppy and piney flavor as well, and quite fruity. Full bodied, and with a long, piney finish. A bit light, but definately drinkable. (060812)

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with an off-white head. Vaguely fruity nose. Medium body with perfumy, soapy accents and a short, dry bitterness. Not uninteresting. 130806

I was told that Brøckhouse at one time named this beer Viking Ale, but that they later withdrew that name - hmmm. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is primarily of honey, but with a hint of acidity and pollen. The aroma is sweet with extremely powerful notes of honey - I find it somewhat like a mead. The end is dry and flowery. The flavor is OK, but I find it a bit one-dimensional only consisting of honey.
