On tap at the brewpub, as Vendelbo Bajer. It pours a hazy, orange body under a creamy, beige head leaving lacings. some cellar in the aroma, sort of like a biere de garde, with a tiny hint of wet cardboard. Sweetness, caramel and some hops in the background too. The flavor also has a little cellar, with fruits, caramel sweetness and a decent bitterness. Mostly bitter finish. Medium body. A quite drinkable lager, with a nice resemblance to biere de garde. Rating: 6-4-6-3-12-3.1. 090514

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer with a dense, off-white head. Hay and butterscotch on the nose. Medium body fullness, smooth. Malty, buttery flavor which lacks on hops, considering it’s name, not the style. Short finish. Not my BBQ-beer, but far from bad. 100917
