Bottle. A more or less clear copper colored beer with a dense finger thick beige head. Bread, toffee and some dark dried fruit in the aroma, with a faint note of grass and dried thyme. It's medium bodied and soft on the palate, semi sweet, with a gentle bitterness. The flavor has a light sweetness, with bread, toffee, some hazelnut and dried fig. Some herbal hints towards the finish, along with some vague coffee notes. A decent brew indeed, easy drinkable and quite tasteful. 230915

Bottle, from the brewpub. A clear copper colored beer with a dense beige head. Some curtains. Bready aroma with toffee and a touch of dark dried fruit. Hints of licorice and herbs. It's medium bodied and softly carbonated, with a very light bitterness and sweetness. Dark bread and toffee drives the flavor too. Herbal bitterness in the finish.. Sure a decent altbier. 230903

On tap at the brewpub. A lightly hazy golden beer with a finger thick white head. Some curtains. The aroma is mostly fruity, but has the expected level of diacetyl. Grass, bread, hay and some piney hints. It's medium bodied and a bit sweet on the palate, softly carbonated and with a gentle bitterness. Bready malts, hay, grass, pine cones and some caramel-ish diacetyl in the flavor. Medium length finish. Forgettable. 230809

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy orange beer with a dense white head. The aroma felt promising at first, with orange and some lemon escaping the glass, but it was soon evident the brewery hasn't gotten rid of the diacetyl problem they've had most of the time. Flowery, lightly malty scents too, along with some grass and herbal notes. It's medium bodied and soft on the palate, mostly on the dry side, with a decent bitterness. Orange zest, pine cones, lemon hints, some herbal notes and a touch of biscuity pale malts in the flavor. Luckily not so much diacetyl in the flavor as on the nose. Medium length finish. A decent brew, unfortunately with diacetyl. 230809
