bottle bbf 15032022 clear dark golden, small white head. malty and slightly grainy (in a good way) aroma. mild and rounded. flavor is malty, fainter complex notes of corn and grains, fainter slightly fruity notes, they hit home bigtime on my expectations for a good oktoberfest bier, and it comes off as very well balanced and easy drinking, still having more malts and less bitterness than you'd expect. Good stuff.

500 ml bottle @ RBNAG-11. Deep golden body with an off-white head. Aroma is malty with some caramel and traces of butterscotch. Flavor is soft and quite mild malty, not much bitterness, fruity and a hint of butterscotch. Medium body, short aftertaste. Not really bad, even with some butterscotch, but not particular exiting either.

Shared bottle, RBNAG 2011. Reddish brown colour, moderate head. Aroma of toffee and a little caramel, a hint of ripe fruits. The flavour is fairly dry, but there is a hint of caramel. Very moderate hops. Not really impressive.

Bottle. It has a sparkling, golden colored clear body and a finger-thick, dense, off-white head. There’s a slightly sourish touch to the aroma, which is otherwise mostly fruity. The flavor too is on the fruity side, some nice sweet flavors blends in, and some hops as well. Medium body. Short bitter, fruity finish. A quite nice one, drinks easy, and that’s it. 101126
