On tap at the brewpub. It serves a semi-clear, brown body with a reddish-orange tint. Decent off-white head on the top, leaving cute lacings. Malty-sweet nose with caramel and fruityness. Some star-anise, cloves and cardamom too. The flavor is slightly spiced towards the finish, but starts with a sweet, caramel maltyness and a balancing bitterness with some herbal notes. Long sweet finish with spices, hops and a very faint note of dms. Full-bodied, sweetish and warming. A quite decent one, and Vendia is sure getting more and more interesting to visit. (090205)

On tap at the brewpub. It serves a slightly hazy ruby to brown body, quite oily, and with a small, beige head. Dried fruits, caramel, sugars, alcohol, fresh fruits, a tiny spiced note and a faint touch of DMS in the aroma. Really pleasant, but not top notch. The flavor is slightly better, with many similarities with the aroma. Dried fruits, sugars, some caramel and grains, notes of fresh fruits and spices and some bitterness. Full-bodied and warming, with a lasting finish with caramel, some spices and bitterness and dried fruits. Sure not a quaffable beer, it’s a real sipper. Maybe too warm though. Sure one of the best from Vendia. (090205)

Bottle 66 cl. Courtesy of Yngwie. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small, rough, off-white head. Strange aroma of perfume and soap. Medium body, yeast, lavender and soap. Finishes dry. Poor indeed. 010209

66 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a fully gone head. Dry and light phenolic yeasty aroma. Somewhat grassy too. Mild sweetness and light spiced flavoured. Vague caramel malty note into the finish. By no means a triple.

Bottle, 66cl. A next to clear beer, golden in color, and topped by a nice, off-white head. Sourish, dusty nose with citrus and orangepeel. Sour flavor with some orangepeel bitterness and a hint of paint thinner. Medium body. It finishes as it started, with sourness and orangepeel bitterness. Not as much paint thinner as initially. The beer wasn’t beyond BB-date, but surely infected. Would like to try it fresher some day. (081031)

On tap at the brewpub. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a reddish hue. Off-white medium sized head leaving lacings. Slightly sour nose, but mostly grainy and wheaty. Wheaty, almost cardboard-like flavor with citrus and a milkysour touch. Pleasant bitter finish. It feels almost cardboardy in the mouth, medium fullness. There seems to be an infection or unclean lines, else it is quite decent. Boring though. (081022)
