Bottle. (Handbottled) A clear, golden beer with a beige head. Cooked vegetables, malt and some fruityness in the aroma. The flavor is quite sweet, with some notes of cooked vegetables, but mostly malty, finishing in the same way. Even though it’s a bock, I would like at least some traces of bitternss. Medium to full body. Decent, but oh so boring. (080912)

On tap at the brewpub. A clear, dark brown beer with a small beige head. Toffee, roasted malt, coffee notes and a touch of DMS in the aroma. Roasted, almost burnt malt, quite toasty, with some cooked vegetables, some dried fruits and a coffee-like bitterness. Dry, medium body. Burnt finish. A quite smooth and pleasant beer, but with some off-flavors. Rating: 5-4-6-4-12-3.1. 080911

Bottle. It’s a really dark brown beer, with a small, beige head. A hint of of licorice blends in with the roasted malts in the aroma. Some coffee too. A bit on the sweet side, with coffee and a hint of licorice. A little touch of licorice in the finish. Medium body. A quite nice one, better on bottle than from the tap at the brewery. Still, too much on the sweet side. 100513

Picked this up at a supermarket not far from Lokkeren, Denmark sat drinking this in Frank (Camper) Thorsminde campsite West Jutland 20-09-08 This was my first wheat beer for quite a while, it was actually quite a decent beer poured hazy dark lemon in colour with a white frothy quickly departing head. Flavour was a little lemon sacchriney but the wheat shows and there is a light spiciness on the nose not much banana, its fine.
