(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a massive foamy white head. Initially rather discreet aroma: delicately sour and yeasty wheaty nose with a dusty touch, citrus, a tinge of banana and cloves. Moderately sour and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty and wheaty taste with moderate to light fruity notes; medium-dry, slightly sour, moderately wheaty and yeasty finish with a tinge of phenolic spices. Middle of the road Weizen. 21.IX.09

Bottled 330ml. -from beerangel.de shared with Doggythedog. Murky/orange coloured, medium sized white head, banana and cloves in the nose. Wheaty, lactic and fruity with notes of cloves and yeast. Touch of acidity in the finish. A bit thinner than Schweiger Schmankerl Weisse but also very nice weizen.

Bottled 330ml. -from beerangel.de shared with Doggythedog. Yellow golden coloured, small white head, stale camomile tea nose. Low carbonation. Weak malty, cardboard and some hops with grassy notes in the finish. Below average pils.

Aroma is light malty, grain, cardboard notes, light lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090823]

Bottle from beerangel.de, shared with ogivlado.Poured an opaque apricot juice like colour with a medium sized white head that took its time to go away. The nose is dominated by cloves and some banana. Sweet malty wheaty taste, lactic, some banana, maybe some cloves. Fresh tasting but a bit light. Chalky again, very nicely balanced. Whoa, both Weissbiers that we’ve had so far from the package turned out to be very good for the style (I’m not counting Erdinger Leicht really). This one might lack some body and complexity but there are many worse of its kind.

Bottle from beerangel.de, shared with ogivlado. Poured a pale yellow-golden body with a tiny white head that vanished immediately. Sweetish grainy dry malty nose. Not bad but the taste after that is quite a letdown. Very, very weak taste, notes of cardboard, weak herbal hop near the end leaving some bitterness that mingles with the prickliness of the mouthfeel. Not offensive really, but really, really unimpressive.
