Description
Introducing Malayali Beer – a unique blend of European hops and Indian rice flakes that creates the smoothest lager you’ve ever tasted. Named after the people of Kerala, Malayali Beer is a celebration of their rich history and vibrant culture. It’s a nod to the cultural heritage of the region and a true reflection of its diversity. The idea of a hybrid beer had been lingering in the back of our minds for a while, but it wasn’t until the challenging market conditions caused by war that we seriously considered it as a viable opportunity. We had a shipment of rice flakes that were at risk of going to waste due to currency exchange fluctuations, which gave rise to the idea of brewing a hybrid beer. Our master brewers have carefully crafted this beer to be a unique and delicious blend of flavors. The European hops provide a crisp and refreshing taste, while the Indian rice flakes add a subtle sweetness and smoothness to the finish. The unique mix of flavors makes it perfect to pair with a wide range of food, from cheese platters, toasted veggies, spicy curries to grilled seafood and meat. We invite you to come and try the beer for yourself. It will be available at select bars and restaurants across Europe in the near future.

Clear golden, smooth creamy yellow head.
malty aroma, a bit old-beery or sunburnt hoppy, very faint flowery or citrussy note.
herbal bitter hoppy flavor, not unlike how macro spanish lager tasted in the 90s, bitter malts. somehow refreshing because of the bitterness - but the bitterness is a bit cardboardy and tasteless. At the same time also reminds me of old-school polish lager.
