Introducing Malayali Beer – a unique blend of European hops and Indian rice flakes that creates the smoothest lager you’ve ever tasted. Named after the people of Kerala, Malayali Beer is a celebration of their rich history and vibrant culture. It’s a nod to the cultural heritage of the region and a true reflection of its diversity. The idea of a hybrid beer had been lingering in the back of our minds for a while, but it wasn’t until the challenging market conditions caused by war that we seriously considered it as a viable opportunity. We had a shipment of rice flakes that were at risk of going to waste due to currency exchange fluctuations, which gave rise to the idea of brewing a hybrid beer. Our master brewers have carefully crafted this beer to be a unique and delicious blend of flavors. The European hops provide a crisp and refreshing taste, while the Indian rice flakes add a subtle sweetness and smoothness to the finish. The unique mix of flavors makes it perfect to pair with a wide range of food, from cheese platters, toasted veggies, spicy curries to grilled seafood and meat.
