Draught @ UBF. Hazy opaque orange color, medium to full sized, superb lacing, white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, lightly fruity, nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle at The Fiddler, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy dark amber with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast and some more yeast. The flavour is medium bitter, yeasty and with lots of smooth malt and caramel on the palate. A very drinkable and refreshing beer with some interesting non Dutch-Belgian characteristics.

Bardzo dobre IPA z Holandii. Jeden z moich ulubionych hmieli tu zastosowano, a mianowicie Nelson Sauvin z NZ. Bardzo wyraznie w smaku, chmielowe i wytrawne w koncowce, zmetnienie takze spore, piana spora, wysoka i trzyma sie sporo czasu. Ciekawa i ladna biala etykieta z oczami, chyba kobiety:)

Bottle: Hazy, golden with an orangey sheen, some floaties under a small and persistent off-white head, dryish fruity-hoppy (orange-peel) nose, yeast and a tinge of alcohol detectable; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and quite soft; lingering citrussy-hoppy finish, some balancing sweetness detectable. Pretty good…

On tap at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam on 16th March 2013. Gold with thinning white head and lacing bands. Rich inviting yeasty hoppy aromas. Luscious grassy hop, grapefruit and spice in-mouth. Fresh berries and pepper also present. Bitter hoppy grassy finish and zingy mouthfeel.

@Lentebierfestival LWD 2013 gouden met witte kraag aroma: hoppig, fruitig, mout, graan smaken: smaakvolle hop bitterheid, fruitig ik kreeg niet echt een IPA ervaring, geen topper.

So, an IPA brewed by two ladies, cool. The squat little 33cl bottle pours out with a clear deep gold body that supports a near white inch tall head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma is very yeasty and spicy and with very slight barnyard going on, that I’m liking by the way, as well as cantaloupe, peach and wet tangerine rind amid a couple of bars of hand soap. Interesting aroma that comes together for me. Wow, the taste is nearly the same with mix of firm yeasty spices, a mineral sense, cantaloupe and peach skin like notes. It gets to a slight resiny hop bitter note here and there but is largely spicy yeastiness and modest hop and estery flavor. Still, pretty tasty.

33 cl bottle @ home. Light orange color, hazy. Not much head, soapy, white. Aroma’s: caramel, yeast, bit sweet fruit, sightly hop aromatic. Flavor is lightly caramel sweet with a mild bitter bite. Medium bodied. Low carbonation. Finishes grainish and medium bitter. OK, but doesn’t really live up to its name.

Starke Karbonisierung. Etwas trockener Beginn, hefig, typisch belgisch. Trocken bleibend, besonders zum Ende hopfig, was auch der einzige besondere Punkt ist. Unspektakulär. 9/8/7/7/5/7
