Description

On tap at In de Wildeman. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus, fruity, pineapple, light crackers. Flavour is light sweet, pale malts, crackers, firm hoppy bitterness, dry, fruity, nice citrus bitter finish. Light-bodied. More an APA in style imo, this is a nice hoppy ale.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Moderately sweet fruity, hoppy and yeasty aroma has notes of pear, a spicy touch. Taste is minimally sweet decently fruity, notes of pear, apple, banana, bitter hoppy overtones. Untypical IPA that can’t deny its Benelux roots.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond and huge foamy head, leaving lace on the glass. Citrus-fruity, slightly exotic and flowery hoppy aroma with a mildly malty background and a spicy Belgian yeast-character. Moderately bitter and mildly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Fruit-accented hoppy taste with notes of oranges, citrus, tangerines; dry-ish hoppy bitter and fruity finish with traces of cara-malt. Nice IPA. 20.X.12

Bottle, 6.2%. Sweet flowery hop aroma. Almost clear dark golden colour. Nice big stable white head. The flavour is rather yeasty, not unpleasant, but hides much of what else is there. Hint of grapey hoppiness. Quite high carbonation. Not bad, but not so interesting either.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Hazy old yellow with a full white head. Sweet yeasty smell. Hoppy fruity taste with a slighty bitter finish. Maybe a bit too sweet but enjoyable nontheless.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Darkish hazy amber pour with a large dissipating white head. Fragrant slightly muted nose with some yeast and citrus hop notes. Soft rather soapy mouthfeel with some decent hop bitterness in tandem with fruit and herb notes Sweet, then dryish finish. Enjoyed it on the whole. Nice green eyes...
