Bottle sample at Colonia Meadery, pours a clear pale blonde. Aroma smells like rotting fruit—like a durian entered my nostrils—with somewhat fermented out honey. Flavour is medium-sweet, with some rotting fruit, nominal honey character, and sugars. Very thin, nothing remotely resembling a trojniak. The best of the bunch but that’s not saying much.

Bottle sample at Colonia Meadery, pours a hazy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of sweat socks, fermented out honey, and a hint of fruitiness. Flavour is nastily sour, with intense acidity, and nothing reminiscent of a mead here. This is for sure fucked up, and they decided to market it anyway. Terrible.

Bottle sample at Colonia Meadery, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma has subdued, mostly fermented out honey, with some bready malt underneath. Flavour has bready malt, a touch of mostly fermented out honey, and toasted notes. Inoffensive, but nothing very pleasant here.

Flavour is completely fermented out, with unfermented wort, cereal grains, and light floral notes. Not egregious, but it does finish with a THP-like Cheerios character. Not good.
