Cloudy golden color. Quite nice earthy hop aroma. The flavor is quite simple, but with a strong bitterness, pretty aromatic.

A dark red-brown beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is roasted with notes of coffee. The flavor is very powerful of coffee, but also of chocolate - great flavor. If this is how Mild’s were in the old days, I want them back to the roots.

A hazy amber beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is sour like a wild fermented beer, while the flavor is primarily of roasted malt and it end on an OK bitterness, the alcohol gives you warmth. To me this doesn’t resemblen an IPA.

A brown beer with a light brown head - the color is too light for the style. The flavor is sour hoppy, with some roasted notes. The flavor is roasted grain and a the body is watery. A disappointment compared to some of the other beers in the historical line from Pitfield.

An unclear amber beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet spicy with cinnamon being most dominant - and so is the flavor.

Hazy blond color. Rather metallic what beer. If the normal wheat beers are not exciting, imagine how they become when made in an "Organic" way…

A pitch black beer with a chocolate brown head. The aroma is very sweet malty. The flavor is also very sweet - a little too sweet for me - with primary notes of roasted bread and a smooth mouthfeel and a powerful body.

A hazy orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with hints of caramel. The flavor is sweet though with hints of sourness probably because of the low ABV. The flavor is dominated by malty notes leading to a bitter hoppy end.

Thin yellowish head, fast gone; colour of Coca Cola. Sweet chocolate and a dash of coffee or moccha; just a bit vinous. Sourish, burnt grain , carbonised taste. Lactic acid, lactose or even milk powder. Finish is very coffeeish, even a bit bitter. Thinnish MF, very slight acid burn. Thinnish porter - but I’m tempted to think it convincing, having read an article on how Entire lead to porter - this is probably consistent with what Wheeler called stale beer for blending. But it’s not really great.

Crème-coloured, thin head; opaque brown ale with orangey hints. Sweet, dark malts, bit woody, winegrapes, tannins, whiff of tobacco. Severe woody, nearly tart taste with a sweet malty undercurrent. Tannins abund. Bitter chocolate, whiff of fruity sour. Not quite in balance. Well bodied, some alcohol warming. Especially in comparison to the standard, the Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby Mild, I cannot find this very "mild" at all. Rather harsh, but not uninteresting.
