Dark purple colour. This one has a big aroma. There's a lot of cherry in there, a burly oak note, touch of raspberry. On the palate, lots of cherry again, but more raspberry for a sweet bit of balance. Slight floral accent - certainly the honey comes through more when it gets a chance to sit on the palate. Just a touch of acidity from the fruit.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark purple-ish mahogany. Nose has an intense, exquisite mix of cherries and raspberries, with deep honey nectar in back. Flavour is on the lighter side palate-wise, revealing lightly tart, jammy cherries and raspberries, gentle honey, and alcohol. Pretty thorny character to the fruit, fairly boozy, but has plenty of depth. Not as decadent/intense/rich as, say, Garagiste/Schramm’s, etc., nor as refined, but has great fruit character. Excellent.

Poured from 375mL bottle (dated 31/05/2025). Very dark purple with no head. Nice nutty cherry pits, feint raspberry underlay, more medium bodied, but a nice fruited mead.

375mL bottle. Pours murky mahagony. Lots of dark cherries and raspberries on the nose; very earthy. Flavour has very nice fruit expression from the dark cherries and raspberries, some tartness, and a sweet honey base. Very nice, I really like the fruit expression here.
