Bottle, 5.4%. Quite malty and slightly dusty aroma. Very dark brown colour, not really bernstein IMO. Big, frothy light brown head. The flavour is rather malty, roasted dark malts. Also has a little smoked horse flavour. Rather good combination. Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium to high carbonation. Nothing exciting, but well-balanced and probably good for sessions.

Bottle, 5.2%. Good banana aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Very big, stable white head. The flavour is wheaty with banana and citrus in good balance. I do not get any clove or other spicy esters. Good, wheaty mouthfeel, a bit thick. Prickly carbonation. A good example of a German Hefeweizen.

Hefig-herber Antrunk mit kurzfristiger Säuerlichkeit. Die Hefigkeit wird geringer und ist im Mittelteil nur noch wenig vorhanden. Herb, wässrig, erfrischend aber laff. Auf Dauer monoton. 11/10/8/7/12/8

Bottle: Quickly diminishing mid-sized white head, pale golden coloured; dusty, soapy, faint sweetish grainy nose; delicate sweetish flavour, light bodied to watery; faint bitter sweet finish. A poor Helles.................(brewed by Kaiser, Neustadt !)

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pale pilsener golden with a fairly tall and retentive, white head. Malty aroma. Medium-bodied with sweetish, malty accents. Dry, hoppy finish. Good. 130806

A light orange beer with a thin reseding head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light touch of hops. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of straw, leading ot a quite dry bitter end.

Bottled. Hazy, yellow beer with a white head. Aromas of wheat, banana and spices. Fruity flavor with spices, and off course banana. Drying and sweet mouthfeel. Quite pleasant in the summer heat, otherwise average. (060720)
