Appearance: cloudy bronze with a large beige frothy head of good retention. Aroma: caramel & toast, hay, dried apples and pears, sunflower oil, spicy and grassy hop. Taste: same picture. Light sweet and light to medium bitter. Hoppy aftertaste. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: drinkable enough.

500ml bottle [as Weiss Rössl Urhell]. Clear, golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Weak, grainy and strawy, pale malty aroma, plain, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, grainy and strawy, minimally biscuity, pale malty, slightly bitter, minimally grassy-waxy-soapy and floral hoppy, some malty spiciness, a mineral touch. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Pretty clean, adequate bitterness, subtle sweetness - OK.
