Bomber from Brewers Haven. Bright golden pour, soft white head. Malty aroma, grainy, sweet. Taste starts sweet, malty, then some warmth creeps in. Smooth at the start, warms up with a nice bite at the finish.

500 ml. Aroma has notes of citrus, tea, caramel, pear. Pours hazy golden with a one finger bone-white head that falls into a ring immediately. Taste is moderately sweet with a lightly bitter edge. Interesting and pretty creative. It tastes mostly like a barleywine/strong ale type of beer, although it is a bit more unique than that.

Draft at Bittercreek. Golden pour, light cloudiness, thin head. Taste and aroma are malty, grainy and thick. Nice heft to this beer. Fairly thick, chewy, tons of flavor. Enjoyed this immensely.

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Orange/golden colored pour, light haze, small foamy white head. Citrusy aroma, orange peel. Taste features mild citrus oil, not picking up any vanilla. Sticky, oily.
I don't remember this being as stouty as it is but maybe cause I had an English barleywine right before it, also gratitude, but damn delicious dark toffee chocolate bourbon sweetness. Nose of hoppy barrels. Clean crisp truck load of barleywine finish.

Bottle from Harry & David in Medford, OR. Pours orange tinged gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is mixed, but lightly cooked pale prunus fruit stands out. Think that indicates a lot of hop. Med body. Flavor is pine, lightly roasted malt, and mixed fruits, not cooked, which seem pale prunus. It is fairly dry. It is very bitter, yet it doesn't burn much. Rather different overall, but very good ale.

Bottle from Harry & David in Medford, OR. Pours red tinged gold with a slight, transient white head. Moderate, but fresh, raspberry aroma. Approaching med body. Flavor is moderate, fresh raspberry with a malt base I could almost think was wheat. Not the strongest flavor in the world, but a nice and tasty one.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours translucent orange tinged gold with a transient white head. Aroma of mezcal and citrus. Approaching full bodied. Flavor is tangerine, mezcal, slightly musty wood. It bounces between dry and sweet. Mezcal stands in for hops. Good flavor.

Smell of roasted malt, coffee. Dark brown colour, mid-brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, ash, coffee, finishes with dry hops and some milk. Also dark chocolate. Bitter, medium sweet. Soft palate, soft carbon. Very pleasant.
