Cask @ Bon Accord. Golden colour, off-white head. Nose is fruity, grapefruit, pine, dish-cloth. Flavour is malty, grapefruit, dish-cloth, citric. Very well drinkable.

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours cloudy golden with a white head and lacings. Grass and grain. Bitter and floral. Vague vomit. Dry end.

Cask at Crown Inn, Manfield, N. Yorkshire. Clear copper/brown. Slight caramelly horseradish aroma. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Low hop rate instead there is bold toffee and white pepper. No bitterness.

Cask@GBBF2011. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood and mild earthy and caramelly notes. Flavour is fruits, nuts, caramel, wood and some slight grassy and floral bitterness in the finish. Floral and fruity aftertaste.

Bottled@The Chriso Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011 "Donkey Dork Lord Edition". Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, nutty, mildly bitter as well. Flavour is quite similar with the nuttyness being more evident. Also quite wooden notes in the finish. Mild notes of oxidation, but otherwise very nice.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Pours clear, red-brown with a light, filmy head. Sugary malts in the nose, some caramel and toffee. Tangy, aged malts in the flavor. Medium bodied with soft or flat carbonation. Some sugar on the finish. OK.

A deep dark stout with a thin white head. In aroma, light chocolate malt with light vanilla. In mouth, a nice woody chocolate, peaty, lightly sweet. Bottle at Mondiale 2011, June 11 2011.

A dark brown stout with a thin moka head. In aroma, a sweet caramel corn syrup, a little woody, not bad. In mouth, a sweet peaty malt, roasted, very nice. Medium bodied. Bottle at Mondiale 2011, June 11 2011.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Dark brown pour with a red tint. Beige head. Chocolate, raisins and some caramel aroma. Licorice, toffee and caramel flavours. Light bitter edge. Light hop finish.

Cask at the Rake’s ’Cumbrian Beer Festival’. Cloudy orange pour with a white head. Sulphurous nose with a hint of citrus. Citrus tang with some light fruit. Think this one was on the turn. Wouldn’t mind having a crack at this when on form. 12/8/2015, GBBF, Olympia, London. Re-rate.. Orange pour with a white head. Citrus and honey aroma leading nicely into the flavour. Crisp bitter fruit finish. That’s more like it! A7/AP3/T7/P3/OV14.
