bottle - That’s nice of them to even warn me right on the label of this beer that it contains "select grains". Translation: we made another adjunct laden pale lager. It pours clear pale gold with a one finger rapidly dissipating white head. The mild aroma of of grain and pale malt. The flavor is a mildly hopped grainy, watery mess with a light, fuzzy body and some grain and hops lingering in the finish. Not good.

Bottle pours a brown body with a finger or so of off-white head. A little bit of a reddish highlight around the edges. Aromas are fairly spicy. Flavor has a bit of a malty backbone with a spicy \"I don’t know what\" funk to it. Plus it is a bit watery. I’m nor sure how anyone is finding any complex notes in here. I like the descriptions of \"burnt hair\" and \"swampy water\" since they comment on the spicy/burnt aroma that doesn’t seem quite natural and the flavor that has a definite funk to it It’s not as gross as those would seem... but it’s not exacly an \"A-list\" beer, either.

Bottle. \"Suds\" would be a fairly good description of the appearance... Light color with a soapy head. Aroma of corn and honey with a touch of peppery hops. Flavor is a little soapy with a mix of sweet malt and very little to set Dixie apart from the other several thousand other pale lagers.

Bottle. Grassy, floral aroma. Very lite amber color with a white head that just ringed. Rather thin in body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is like wheat and malt, lightly sweet caramel. Finish is clean, refreshing, and seems to have a touch of spice. Actually a good drink, for a light lager.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma is malt and corn. The taste is a pale malt with a metallic finish. Not too much going on with this lager.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a medium off white head. The aroma is a light malt with raisin and brown sugar. The taste is malty with caramel and a grainy finish. A decent brew from Minhas.

Aroma of grassy hop with some toasted malt. Dark reddish amber color with a very impressive beige head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is smooth, a bit of roasted malt (not toasted), with a decent amount of hop bitter. I can imagine a touch of chocolate. Finish is fairly dry and somewhat bittered. It’s not black. It doesn’t seem to be a schwarzbier in flavor. It’s pleasant, but isn’t it an amber lager?

Grassy hop aroma with perhaps a bit of pale malt. Bright golden color with a frothy white head that stuck for awhile. Near medium in body with coarse carbonation. Almost corny grain flavor backed by light grassy hop. Better than Bud, but not all that much. Finish does leave some bitter, which helps.

Nice yeasty aroma, clean and fresh. Taste starts out strong then fades rapidly to a thinner palate. Creamy carbonated texture. Has a roasty feel about it. Medium malt finish. The appearance has a yellowish tinge to a mostly dark brown beer. IMHO, overall, quite mellow and acceptable for a schwartz!

Appearance of ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Aroma of sweet gravel with permumy hints. Dirt like in the olfactory. Near haylike and then it clean up a little on the palate. Industrial processed feel on the tongue, to an extent. Unique attitude and character tho pale yellow lager. Not offensive but is difficult at times. Quite like any american pale lager. Aftertaste haunts for a while.
