Draught at the brewpub. Dark brown, creamy nitri head. Spicy grassy aniseed aroma. Dry and very roasty with notes of chocolate and saké as well as bitter cocoa. Big, concentrated roasty flavours, marked powerful bitterness. More alive, more for real than the regular commercial Irish stouts.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale golden, small head. Herbal grass aroma. Dry and fruity with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Distinctly hoppy with notes of Earl Grey Tea. Medium bitternes. The Czech hops are very prominent and sparks life into this beer.

tap at the brewpub - Pours near black with a lingering tan head. It smells of roast malt and chocolate. The flavor includes dark roast malt, chocolate, and a hint of smoke. It’s medium to full bodied and quite nice, easily the best of the five brews I tried at the brewpub.

tap at the brewpub - Pours dark amber, almost ruby red, with a lasting white head. It smells of lightly toasted caramel malt. The flavor is sweet, toasted caramel malt with a slightly bitter, lingering toasted malt finish. It’s decent though bland.

tap at the brewpub - Pours golden and has a nice caramel malt aroma. The flavor is sweet and dominated by the caramel malt as well with minimal hops presence. Even the finish is malty. Bubbly and watery. Okay.

tap at the brewpub - Pours light golden with a medium sized, lingering white head. It has a mild grainy, bready malt aroma. It tastes of light, sweet malt with a touch of hops. Bubbly and kind of watery, this brew is drinkable but underwhelming.

Draught at the Brewery in Dublin. Pale gold color. Rounded malt aroma with some fruit. Heavy malt flavor, with cereals and decent hops. There is some fruit and a bit of cardboard too. Pretty nice. Fruit and hop finish is there, but could be more bitter.

Draught at the Brewery in Dublin. Relatively clear German type, somewhere between a hefeweizen and a Kristal. Decent wheat and yeast aroma. High carbonation. Sweetish flavor, rather thin. Refreshing and easy to drink but not very distinctive.

Draught at the Brewery in Dublin. Dry, well roasted stout with lots of coffee and a touch of cocoa. Very dry and flavorful. A very typical, but well-made dry stout.
