Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy greenish gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Big dank and juicy nose with iyokan citrus, pineapple aromas. Leafy hops on the palate with more dank citrus, floral honey & prickly pear. Good balance between tropical fruit, dank and pine.
Draft at Ascension. Pours a mostly clear light copper to amber with a finger of white foam that dissipates quickly. Herbal nose with big lemon, lime & grapefruit aromas. Tart on the palate with sourdough bread, rye, & more lemon on the finish. Kveik yeast adds a nice fruity yeast texture that works well.
Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy plum red with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Big, bright, jammy strawberry notes with black raspberry and tomato umami notes as it warms. Thick and mochi-like on the palate. Tomato, strawberry V8. Great texture, mouthfeel with explosive favor. Really digging the strawberry, raspberry and the tomato V8 notes together. Chunky fruit juice.
Draft at Ascension and multiple cans at home. This rating is the for can. Pours a hazy, milky looking straw gold color with a full finger and a half of foam that lingers. Super dank and heady nose with pineapple, mango, leaf and dried guava and good yeast aromas. Juicy on the palate with more dried tropical fruit, coconut, leaf and dank. Smooth and crushable with a nice earth and pine note on the finish. Not overly sweet. Really nice drop from Ascension.
Draft and can pour at Ascension. Pours a bright, glowing raspberry red with a bit of white foam that lingers. Huge raspberry nose with some skin as well. Great body with bright, raspberry slushee notes. Lemon comes out as it warms. All the raspberry in this one. Great fruited gose from Ascension here.
Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy, glowing neon yellow with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Honeydew melon, pear, grapefruit aromas. Juicy palate with leafy hop bitterness, pith, gooseberry skin & arugula. I liked this one, but it was tapped that day and was maybe a touch too green for my palate. Would love to try again with a few weeks on it. Still a very nice beer.
Draft at Ascension. Pours a clearish orange with a finger of white foam that lingers. Leafy, arugula forward nose w/ dank underneath. Dry on the palate with more leafy hops, pine & pithy white grapefruit. Light gummy bear notes linger on the finish next to the pith and pine.
Draft at Ascension. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of foam that dissipates. Leafy greens, arugula, and tropical fruit skin on the nose. Juicy body with some mild hop burn. Dank with dried tropical fruit & light pine. Great balance that I enjoy in my NEIPAs.
