Bottle at home. Pours orangeish copper ith huge, off-white head. Nose is sweet booze and caramel, dank resinous hops. Taste is caramel first, then some piney hops appear, closing with a caramely-boozy sweet finish that lasts long. Sticky, medium body, soft to average carbonation. Tasty old school DIPA.

Cask@Salhojankadun Pub, Tampere. Hooray for Sir Olio! Black colour with a mediumsized ff-white head. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate, alcohol and some slight toffeeish tones with a bunch of vanilla to it. Flavour is roasted, chocolaty, some liquorice, mild alcohol, vanilla and some slight roasted tones with some hoppiness kicking in too. Pleasant, though would have been even more to my taste with a bit less hops....

Bottle. Pitch black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, some salted liquorice, tar and mild wooden tones to it. Flavour is roasted, some slight chocolaty, salted liquorice and mild wooden tones with mild spiciness and some slight alcohol. Wooden and somewhat sweet aftertaste, but still rather mellow and nice to drink. In a way intense, but also easy going.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black rich coarse head. Licorice, chocolate and juniper berries up front. Mid sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Verlvetty chocolate, licorice and gin. Warming bitter finish. Really good!
