interesting and unusual aroma mostly resembling brown cake with lemon frosting or cheesecake frosting. or maybe just malts and cheesecake. peanuts. Like a bakery soaked in imperial stout. maybe. Flavor is roasted malts, sweet milky cheesy flavor, mild banana milkshake, ends more sweet roasted malty. perhaps some licorice. Manages to be not as cake frosting artificial sweet as others, which helps. Only drink this if you feel like a pastry stout.

Flavor is a little bit almost cheesy, hard roasted malts, wood, bourbon. there is this fruit-sour-candy like flavor that is a bit unusual for an imp.stout, i think it is the lacto that does this trick. In a way this is perhaps a litle bit of a pastry stout, flavor profile mostly resemles an imp bourbon stout, one of the heavy ones. In fact it tastes a lot heavier and fuller than only 10.5% alc. That part is particularly well done. The beer also tastes like it has been on wood forever. wood flavors and wood numbing is huge with this one. Perhaps the long time on wood could also explain the glue like flavors, I have tried this with other beers that had been on wood for a very long time. this one... not 14 weeks... 14 months!! OMG. That's a lot. Worked out very well.

Can 33 cl. Deep, dark brown with an orange hue and a tiny, rough off-white head. Very intense apple pie aroma atop some vanilla and milk chocolate. Rich, sweet chocolate notes again with plenty of apple pie. Medium body with a lowish carbonation. Hardly any bitterness. Kinda delicious, but most likely made with flavorings. 250123
