Description
Tori Cidery is a family business established 2014y. Our main line of business is growing organic apples and producing cider and other apple-based beverage. But also, we do have an experimental vineyard about 0,3ha, where we grow grapes for wine-producing. Our first commercial vintage was launched in 2020y from Solaris grapes from 2018y. Our winery is one of the northernmost vineyards in a world and there was produced only 299bottles of Solaris, which makes this wine very unique.

(Bottle, 0.75 l - BB 18.01.2017, 20160811) The cider poured pale golden and clear. Its head was small and fizzy. Aroma had apple juice, apple seeds and yeast. Palate was medium bodied and dryish wit rather high carbonation. Flavours were apple juice, sourness, apple seeds and mildly tartness. Aftertaste had apple seeds and sourness. The intense fizziness made this one hard to drink. Also, the taste was lacking nice edges.

0,375L bottle (from Tallinna Kaubamaja). Bottle opens with a bang, pours golden. Aroma is sweet, apples, some sourness. Flavor is sour and somewhat sweet, some rotten apples. Carbonation is high. Overall: drinkable, but too fizzy (and I generally prefer more scrumpy style ciders).

75cl bottle from SIP, Tallinn. Pours clear golden with hints of white head in the edge. Very fruity aroma with lots of ripe apples, some wooden notes and hints of vanilla and alcohol. Fairly sweet, with nice apple flavour and a decent acididty. Refreshing!
