20/9/2019. Bottle from Lauvas Alus, Riga. Pours hazy bitty orange gold with a huge foamy white head. Aroma of hops, pine, sweet malt, citrus, grapefruit, light passion fruit, yeast and flowers. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Some bitterness and metallic notes to finish.

33cl bottle. Pours hazy amber with a fair amount of floaties and a large, white head. Malty and slightly fruity with just a hint of citrus. Medium sweet with relatively low flavour intensity and ditto bitterness. Close to fizzy and all together not so enjoyable.

On tap at Latvia Beerfest Hints of lemon in the nose. Pours a cloudy pale orange with minimal head. Little carbonation and a syrupy texture. Blandness in the mouth – hints of banana and lime. Finish is apples. Not a bad beer, but won’t bother with this one again.

Smell- weak, some hops, fruity notes. Foam- thin, soft, after shaking very weak hops notes. Head is medium to large, white. Appearance- bit hazy yellow amber, 2 carbonation bubbles. Taste- citrus, fruit notes, very weak bitter-sweetness. Not bad, easy drinking, but nothing special.

Ratebeer crashed... Smell - weak, yeast, citrus, belgian? notes Foam - thin, large in mouth, some sweetness tones and weak citrus. Head is large, white. Appearance - bit hazy, dirty, orange amber. Taste - yeast, weak citrus, sweetness, more sour than bitter and sourness is very weak here, finishes with some orange notes with yeast and sweetness. Nothing wrong and also nothing what would wow me much, still decent.

Smell- weak to medium, hops, grapefruit, some candy notes. Foam- thin, bit to medium, soft, after shaking some hoppy bitterness. Medium head, white or creamy white a bit. Appearance- hazy and dirty, orange, brown, yellow yeast color. Taste- hops, biting bitterness in background, yeast and more hops, goes down well and does feel like it has some alcohol, but faintly, but kind of not my style as I am not fan of bitter beers.
