(Bottle, 0.5 l, thanks FatPhil, 20200904) The beer poured muddy. No head. Aroma had soap and rubber. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were rubber, soap and bitterness. Aftertaste was soapy and lightly sour. A proper horror. Thanks again FatPhil.

500ml bottle, thanks FatPhil. Horrible, messy and bad with some soapy notes, rubber and leather. Something has gone horribly wrong here.

Bottle at Arde's residence, Helsinki. Thanks mjs & fatphil? Color is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Dish water, citrus, yeast... lots of problem with yeast.

33cl bottle from Valmiermuiža Alus Tirgotava, Riga. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of farmyard and manure, some slightly fruity and malty notes behind there, but mostly funky farm. Not directly unpleasant, but feels dirty and messy. Nothing here that reminds me of IPA, just farmhouse. Obviously infected, but thankfully not a gusher. A bit fizzy mouthfeel, and a medium bitter finish. No thanks.

19/7/2019. bottle from Lauvas alus, Riga. Pours murky dull orange gold with no head. Aroma of stale ashtray, with some underlying tropical fruits. Light sweetness, medium bitterness, light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Finish was light bittersweet/tart and I started to like it a little more however it's hard to believe that overall this beer was what the brewer intended and I think it could be down to the bottle capping as I'm not convinced it was air-tight.

Smell- weak to medium, hops some citrus. Foam- huge in mouth, sour, bitter thin, not watery, slowly rising in bottle, large in glass as well, creamy orange color. Quite lasting. Appearance- medium dark, hazy brown, looks a bit like hazy apple juice. Taste - citrus, some sourness, bit more bitterness, weird, not my type at all. Aftertaste is sour and bitter, no thanks. Rerate some time later: It gets better, a bit, still dont like it, but it gets bit more drinkable, so upped score a bit.

Tried 2 beers from this brewery did not like them, have 2 more, this is one of them, not even in list, maybe better ? Maybe worse ? We will see. Smell- medium to weak, some citrus, some hops and maybe yeast. Foam- thin, not watery large in mouth, was actually rising in bottle too, had to take in faster, weak bitter notes. Large, white foam with yellow notes. Lasts some time and sticks to sides in large chunks. Actually I like the look of it, extra point for that. Appearance- hazy yellow amber, some carbonation. Taste- citrus, weak, weak sourness, weak bitterness, sourness disappears soon after, some sweetness, bitter aftertaste, quite lasting. Better than both other beers I had from this brewery for sure, but nothing special still, aftertaste too bitter for me, but some people may like it.
