Bottle, batch 20160817 (from Pothouse). Pours dark brown with light brownish head. Aroma is sour, fruity, blackcurrant, some roast. Flavor is sour and bitter, massive blackcurrant, some roast and chocolate. Body is on the lighter side. Overall: ok, but very blackcurrant heavy, would like to see bit more base beer.

Bottle, BB 10.09.2016, bottle no. 0147. Pours dark amber with whiteish head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sweet, berries, caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, breadie, malt, slight sourness. Body is watery. Overall: feels homebrewy, but I don’t mind drinking it.

Pours real hazy, sort of dirty copper, looking like freshly pressed and then oxidised apple juice. Not much foam, just a bit when poured fiercely. Aroma has a bit of malt extract, fruity and sweetish. Drinks a bit better than it looks, slight bitterness, malty body, sweet overall feel. Aftertaste has some lingering bitterness and malt extract sweetness. Overall, still quite amateurish, more like somebody’s first try in homebrewing. Reminds me the beers I have had at different Bakushu Kobo joints in Tokyo.

Pours dark brown, bit of beige head. Aroma is milky and soft, chocolaty roast in the background. Taste feels actually nicely velvety and has some cocoa roast feel to it. More like a milk stout but well, not half bad. Nice bitter roast feel lingering in the aftertaste. Much better compared with the first beer I had from them.

33cl bottle (#0213) from Sip, Tallinn. Pours hazy amber with a modest, off-white head. Rather bready and somewhat yeasty and malty aroma with notes of overripe fruits and bitter herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with a quite nice bitterness, but messy bready flavours and much to yeasty for my taste. Drinkable enough, but still the stout (first one I tried) is the only one I would drink again. Hope it will work out eventually.
