Bottled, from Gambrinus, Tartu. Near black, small beige head. Rich coffee aroma. Dry with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Coffee and pine - heavily roasty. Long bitter finish.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - batch 20180316 - BB 19.01.2019, from Sip Tallinn, 20180925) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was rather large, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had toasted malts, chocolate and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, chocolate, sweetness, molasses, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A rather pleasant brown ale. Surprisingly clean.

330 ml from Õllepood Nr. 1. Pours hazy orange, little foam. Nose is malty and stuffed, no elegance there, lightly acidic with a pinch of spice. Tastes somewhay better, homebrewish still, medium body and light hop bitterness. Drinkable but quite amateurish brew. Rye is mostly lost to me.

330 ml bottle from SIP. Pours dark brown, massive beige head. Foaming a bit but almist possible to pour it without problems. Nose has some wet caramel malts, burnt asphalt and smoky leather. Smoke sauna, yes. Taste has more of that smoke and moee of that leather. Not too much of it, so actually relatively balanced. Leaves lasting smoky-bitter-liquorice coating and lingering smoked bacon in the back of your throat. Not bad, certainly much better than I expected.

500 ml bottle from SIP. Pours darker shade of brown, just a little of foam on top. Sweetish toffee caramel in the nose, herbal. Taste has more herbal stuff with light bitterness, lots of caramel and some bread soup. Some smoke and faint herbal medicinal linger in the finish. Drinkable, not too bad.

330 ml bottle from SIP. Pours amber, lightly cloudy. Pours with a huge foam head, really fluffy. Nose has light sourness, cardboard paper, wet and not appetising at all. Taste has some malty sweetness, dusty grains and light bitterness. Everything in a pretty bad balance. I can somehow drink this but well, I see no reason why anyone else should. Gets better when it warms.

330 ml bottle from Sip. Pours deep orange, somewhat couldy and with just a little bit foam on top. Foam stays quite well, leaving some lacings on the glass. Aroma is soft, light spices and grassy. Taste has more of that grass character, spice (from the yeast?) and some light bitterness lingering in the finish. Bitterness feels somewhat medicinal. For 3% abv beer, this is not bad, otherwise, well, nothing much to write home about either.
