We are artisan producers at the heart of Somerset’s cider-land making whole juice sparkling cider by the old English method of keeving.
Apples are collected from traditional cider orchards in and around the parish of Pilton and slowly fermented for six months in our cool Victorian cellar before bottling.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers GB!. Aroma is apple juice with hints of toffee. Very smooth and the aroma follows through in the taste. Dry finish. Very nice.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo via Ed. Cheers! Aroma is blackcurrant, whiskey notes, slightly spiced and hints of apple. Drying blackcurrant taste that fizzes on the tongue. Very fruity.

Sample with Grumbo via Ed. Aroma is sugary, musty, tannic, grape, solvent and a touch mucky. Decent body, slightly sweet. A bit carbonated and a good drying grape finish.

750ml bottle from Gloucester Services Farm Shop. Sparkling, orangey amber-gold colour, thin white foam head and aroma of apple, caramel, funk. Taste is sweetish, tangy, apple, fruity, orchardy, with leather, farmyard funky notes, caramel, some sharp tartness with alittle soft tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart finish. Nicely drinkable.

3/9/2024. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours hazy dark orange with minimally bubbly white head. Aroma is musty grape, apple, tannins, slight mucky edge developing. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Light tartness. Average carbonation. Likeable.

Clear golden pour, tiny white head; decent carbonation. Rather on the tart side which is good. Taste is adding some quince, oak and even a hint of pepper. Very nice.

750ml bottle from Aeble. Red-brown colour, thin white foam rim and aroma of red grape, apple, musk. Taste is sweet, apple, fruity, juicy, grapey, with some spicy hints and drying tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, fruity grapey dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle. Almost flat. Clear deep golden. Quince, caramelized apple, leathery tannins, light tropical fruits, soft funk. Medium sweet, light bitter.edium bodied, quite dry and almost flat. Lovely.
