Description
Over one hundred years ago, the building known as the Palace Livery provided a vital service making it a unique gathering place for residents of and travelers to Southwest Michigan. This former horse livery has been brought back to life as The Livery!

Our mission is to honor the rich history of brewing by continuing to create hand-forged beer that will inspire and enlighten. The byproduct of our brewing is that it will continue to unite our community with travelers near and far, under one roof, in celebration of life! Furthermore, our outreach into the community will help strengthen the vast programs that encapsulate the character of our region.

Tap at brewery. Light malt, citrus, musty aroma. Light hazy yellow, small white head, and some lacing. Sour citrus, barnyard, herbal hop flavor. Light carbonated body.

Tap. Lemon, white grape, sour milk and light barnyard aroma. Slightly hazy pale yellow color with small head. Slightly musty bready malt aroma. Very tasty.

Tap. Apple and lemongrass aroma. Golden yellow color - minimal head. Sweet banana, barley malt and moderately bitter hay hops flavor. Dry finish. Very good.

Tap (Berry Wheat). Raspberry wheat aroma. Reddish amber color with small head. Sweet-tart raspberry and light wheat malt flavor. Okay - not overly sweet.

Tap. Funky citrus barley malt and light hay aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with small head. Basement, barley malt and moderately bitter dry grass flavor. Excellent.

Tap. Butterscotch malt aroma. Hazy amber color with small head and nice lacing. Sweet toffee malt flavor initially with strong bitter citrus hops finish. A good one.

Tap. Funky lemon barley malt aroma. Hazy pale yellow color with small head. Barnyard barley malt flavor with light herbal hops finish. Unique - a very nice beer.

Sampled on draft at GTMW 2011. Pours a hazy copper color with a thin head. Earthy and tart aroma with notes of honey, apples, faint chocolate and even fainter mint. The taste is caramel, toffee, earthy, stone fruits, minty hops. Slightly tart. Medium bodied.

Sampled on draft at GTMW 2011. Pours a murky reddish brown with nearly no head. Aroma of whisky, toffee, caramel, wheat and bread. The taste is tart unexpectedly with notes of toffee, wheat, sour cherries and whisky. Medium bodied.

Bottle @ RBESG 09 Grand Tasting @ [ The Harlequin, Sheffield, England. ]Unclear - hazy medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, fruity, peach, pineapple, oak, yeast, sour yeast. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hoppy, fruity, peach, dry oak notes, sour. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is fizzy - lively.
