Served on draft at Hopcat in Grand Rapids. Pours a hazy yellow color with a thin head. Faint aroma with citrus hops and a faint whisky note. The taste is big hops including lemon and other citrus notes. Some peach as well, faint whisky notes and a spicy hop finish. Medium-full bodied. Decent beer.

On tap at the brew pub. Poured near clear amber with a white head that laced nicely. Aroma had notes of light pine and grass from the hops, with rye and an bit of underlying alcohol. Flavor has more present rye alcohol that smoothed the beer nicely and melded perfectly with the pine and grass hops.

On tap. Poured a hazy deep amber with a yellow hue and a yellowish small head that dissipated slowly. Aroma had a bit of wine and dark fruits with some dark grains and caramel. Flavor began with a wine a dark fruit and was dry as well. Dark grains and caramel grew throughout the drink making it a bit sweeter with the dryness still present.

Tap. Poured a near clear dark brown with a small gray brown head that dissipated to a film around the edges. Aroma had a strong espresso note with a bit of bourbon and a dry note. Flavor was more complex with a bit bourbon and sweeter grain in the beginning that was quickly taken over by an espresso note. The finish was dry with oak and dark fruit. A very good beer but the coffee/espresso was a bit too much for my liking.
