Bottle from Mitchell Wines Meadowhead - Clear golden body, no head, still and oily. Sweet caramel character, smoky honey backdrop, barley sugar sweets and a bit of demerara sugar.

750ml bottle from the lcbo. Clear Copper pour, long legs on the glass with no head. Aroma is very floral, honeysuckle, with hints if tulip, and a subtle yet pungent Aroma of slowly rotting bouquet of flowers. Mouth feel. Is viscous and oily. Finish is slightly sweet, flavours of sherry, and very sweet apples, with more rotting bouquet, and floral mouth coating yeasty honey. Quite the drink.... Not quite sure what to make of it.

Аромат действительно очень медовый, причем настощий, очень сладкий, намеки на грушу и даже яблоко моченое. Цвет желтый, глубокий, пены нету. Вкус богатый, есть глубина от меда, он очень ярко и сладко по началу раскрывается а затем приходит душок от груши. Напоминает местами сидр с замороженными яблоками. Немного благородного алкоголя в конце, и сильная сладость. В целом очень на уровне.

Sample thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden and clear. Nose - honey and syrup. Taste - sweet honey, cough medicine and some gentle spice. Palate - medium to full bodied, sweet middle and finish. Overall - decent.

# 3998; 1/2024. Honey, honeycomb, light fruity and spicy aroma. Brilliant amber body; no head; no carbonation; oily texture. Honey, spicy, very sweet; sour finish. Well, good, but still very simply and straight mead - not great one... 0,2 l of 0,75 l of clear-glas bottle, garden center (!), (Pennell's Garden Centre), South Hykeham, Lincolnshire, England.

I think this is Heather mead. fajna plaska butelka, po otwarciu aromat silny jakby miodu manuka czy cos w tym stylu, natomiast w smaku umiarkowanie slodkie pol wytrawne z przewaga posmaku lawedy, miodu lipowego, wrzosowego. smaczne fajnie ze nie za slodko, nie zamulajaco i zywicznie. polecam
