Shared by FatPhil - thanks! Pours clear amber without any head. Honey, slightly floral with some acidity and wooden notes. Sweet, but fairly balanced and quite drinkable.

75cl bottle. Clear orange amber colour, some initial bubbles that quickly disappear leaving no head and deep honey aroma, herby, with liquorice & earthy alcohol. Honey flavour, some sweetness, plus flowery, spice & grassy notes. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, low carbonation, warming finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle at 4:20. Clear, light and bright gold. Light booze aroma, some fruits and honey. Sweet, but not the sweetest mead I’ve had - which is nice. Full bodied and warming. Sugar, honey and mild alcohol on the finish. Nice.

Bottle 75 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Clear deep golden. Very sweet honey in the nose. Very full body, sticky sweet honey with only a whiff of spices. A very sweet and solid Mead if a little unrefined and one-dimensional. 060610
