Amber color. Light aroma of hazelnuts, cookies, honey, in the order. Sweet flavor, with flowery accents, some raisins, very light honey. Pleasant, but not exciting.

Amber color, dark, still. Light aroma of forest honey, perfumy honey too. Good body, sweet, a bit syrupy, with some honey flavor, very light herbs, balanced bitterness; in the end it’s warming, but there is never any disturbing alcohol. Excellent.

A rum coloured mead with little floaties. A corkey sweet honey aroma, with gin alcohol, a bit bland. In mouth, sweet honey water, with light licorice, a bit of acidity, interesting. A notch above the dryish Quebec meads, though. Thanks to Inertiaboy, Jan. 2007.

Golden brown in colour, lovely aromatic honey nose, a deep rich complex multilayered honeyness. For my money one of the best meads around.
