A nice smooth dark brown, almost black smoked ale. Good body, a bit chewy, a firm but clean bitterness to balance. Good strong flavours for the low abv. csakajor budapest

Bottle from wombat23. Thanks for the overflow. Dark brown with a frothy, beige head. Aroma of pine, smoked peach, caramel. Taste is bitter with increasing tartness at the end, full of roasted grains, smoke and chocolate. Body is medium, carbonation moderate, texture is watery. More bIPA than brown ale. Not bad—could use a little more heft.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Odi. Hazy golden, white head. Fruity hops, soapy, somewhat stale, rather dry, bitter finish, medium-bodied.

Bottle at Hopaholic, Budapest. Poured a murky medium amber with a mostly lasting thin white head. The aroma is malty mineral earthy, herbal. The flavour is so bad I can’t even describe it. Ok, i’ll have a go. It tastes like the drip tray from a bar which contains multiple beers at the end of the night and mixed with 50% washing up water and before anyone says “how on Earth does he know what that tastes like” believe me I know! Medium bodied with flat carbonation. Drainpour. No way is this anything like a Brut IPA. It’s a brew gone wrong that they bottled and sold anyway.

Bottled 330ml. -from Csak a Jo Sor Budapest. Nearly black coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel and whiff of hops in the nose. Roasted malt, herbal hops, burnt caramel and pretty strong roasty bitter finish. Brown ale...no way, more likely not so good BIPA.
