Rated at One Pint Pub. Sweetish, roasty and heavy with rye barrel notes, some hints of vanilla, wood, oak and toffee, chocolate and charred notes. Quite balanced, not super thick bodied but tasty. --- Beer merged from original tick of Rye Rye Imperial Stout on 16 Dec 2023 at 19:27 - Score: 8. Tap at Kahdet Kasvot, Tampere. Opaque colour and tiny beige head. Rye, toasted malts, bourbon in the nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Bourbon, spicey rye, alcohol, toasted malts. Quite thin and somewhat alcohol dominating.

440ml can at home. Poured unclear and light golden in color, thin white head. Sweet malts, some fruitiness and even more sweetness. Boring. Feels bit old, but BBE says 05.10.2024.

Draught @ Kahdet Kasvot Aroma is a bit mellow with licorice and mild peat. Flavour has salty licorice, some mild peat, ash. Alcohol is present but does not disturb much. Finishes with lingering saltiness. Way too salty for my taste.

Tap at Barley & Bait, Helsinki. Color is very dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, Cacao, whiskey, roasted malts... pretty soft and surprisingly heavily barrel aged Ford Finnish BA beer.
