Medium amber golden color. Big smoky nose with lemon, wheat with a touch of peaches n cream. The mouth is a bit heavy for 3% but still very tart and refreshing with great lingering smokey finish. Nice with salad and seafood.

Slightly hazy yellow, not much carbonation there. Nose is interestingly malty, mixed with some savoury salty notes. Refreshing. Taste has sour acidity but also quite recognisable smoke character. Balance is quite good, not too sour, still feels light and really great way to hydrate yourself and replenish also minerals during a hot summer day.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2017. Hazy orange-brown with lace. Nose of toffee, caramel, pine, butterscotch. Tongs of toffee flavor, bit of diacetyl I would say, lots of pine, orange, honey, biscuits. Young and oily and probably not ready to be served. Bitter finish. A rather typical American BW that I would like to try again after a few months.

Tap at Watering Hole. Nose of pine, honey, lemon. Big, thick, cloudy amber orange color. A bit peppery, lots of honey, citrus, a bit heavy. Ok. Doesn’t really work, though.

Pours petty dark brown, beige foam film o the top, leaving some lacings. Aroma is toasty, lots of roast malts there, black burt rye bread and soy sauce. Quite bready. Taste reveals relatively weak body, still packed with roast character and more burnt black bread. Soy sauce salt and dry burnt charcoal in the finish. Not bad, does have quite some character for this 6%.

Pours chestnut, quite clear and with just a hint of foam. Nose has some burnt sugar and a bit of nail polish. Burnt rye and bitter caramel. Taste is also sweetish, caramel and burnt sugar dominate - while I am still getting this weird hint of nail polish (which is not that bad but still slightly disturbing) and then this burnt rye character that is quite nice. Aftertaste sweetish and bitter. Overall not bad but this nail polish thing does not really do it for me.

Clear whitish yellow, not much foam and no lacings. Aroma has some kid candy, sweet and fruity. Taste reveals a mouthful of gummy bears - just gummy bears, nothing else. No bitterness, no sourness, surprisingly still pleasant and drinkable but well, not really a gose. Some dry chalk in the aftertaste, maybe just a bit of bitterness also. I can drink this.

Slightly hazy golden amber color. Lots of stonefruit, bread and grapefruit. Heady. Lovely leafy mouth tons of grapefruit. Modest bitterness. Mouthfeel is a bit watery. Definitely getting towards a NE IPA but falls a bit short in look and mouth. Still I love this

It seems to now be called Loco-nut Porter which I found cute and clever. A cola black pour with a thick beige head. Big coconut aroma but it seems like extract. The taste is syrupy sweet coconut, some chocolate but too sweet in my opinion. I ended up blending it with the Founders Imperial Stout (10.5%) which made for delicious beer and thickened up the Loco considerably while also cutting back that sweetness.

2015 vintage shared at an Asahiya Event. Beautiful clear blonde n color with a spicy aroma. The taste is very well defined coriander but it is not overpowering. Quite drinkable.
