Can from the brewery. Nice wheat nose, coriander, citrus. Rich and wheaty. Smooth, zesty, nice wheat biscuits, good coriander character. Decent stuff.

2021 version, 4% abv. Can from the brewery. Nose is citrus, funky saison yeast, Pilsner malt, light chamomile. More chamomile in the flavor, with lemon/yuzu, bready malt, wheat. I don’t really dig chamomile, but it works well in this. A good base is the key, and the yuzu also is well integrated.

Can from the brewery. Nose is earthy beets, citrus, dust. A strange one for sure. Deep red like beet juice, with lace. Pretty. Taste disgusting. Beets and I guess maca. Astringent and, yes, very earthy! Interesting but unpleasant.

Nice malty light sweetness, got that ovaltine thing in there. Nice hoppy bitterness too. Chocolate. Very German for me.

Now you’re talking! Chocolatety, malty, slightly dry, bit of hoppiness. Lovely stuff! Czech style loveliness!

Nara x Lostage x Craftrock Brewing Neverland 5%. 21 IBU Kolsch with Cedar Lovely matte gold with a bready malt and herbal peppery spice hop bouquet. Quite full bodied and dry with the cedar coming through clearly in the finish. Really great stuff.

Can mail order from the brewery. A lager with two Japanese citrus fruits added. Fruity citrus nose, daidai, natsumika, basically a sour orange aroma, with biscuity pilsner malt, and I get a nice blast of hops too. Hazy pastel golden color with a low, thick head. Nice flavor. The citrus is there, the malt is there, the hops, the lager character all come through quite nicely, which I find is ultra rare in a fruited lager. There is biscuit, a touch of caramel, some grass and tropical fruits along with the citrus. Quite impressive malt character makes me want to try this exact recipe without the fruit as well. Very refreshing, crisp and tasty.

Can, mail order from the brewery. DArk brown, almost black, with deep reddish tints and a thick, bubbly off-white head. Beautiful. Dark chocolate, light berries, coffee, slightly roasted, citrus. Quite a complex nose. Rich malt, coffee, berries, caramel, slightly sweet but also roasty. Definitely approaching a schwarz. Rather light in body, clean finish that is roasty and slightly bitter. Good.

Enjoyed it a lot. So much that I wrote nothing.

Bottle, directly shipped from the brewery immediately after canning. Nutty, toasty, chocolate nose, cocoa powder, light citrus fruit. Bright orange-amber, bit of haze, Chocolate, caramel, toast, hazelnuts. Very toasty and not roasty. Very suffig! Rich and malty, lots of melanoidin richness. Finish is quite peppery, light fruitiness, toast, nuts and cocoa. Want to drink a Mass of this. Really nice. Super quaffable. Great job. I am pretty sure it is the best dunkel ever made in Japan. A peppery hoppiness makes it really like a Franconian dunkles Landbier more than a typical Munich dunkel.
