Bottle from Yamaoka. Muddy orange-brown, with a low head. Very cloudy and ugly. very estery nose: banana, apricots, orange, light mango. nice enough nose. Spicy, fruity and strangely bitter flavor. The finish is rough and a bit nasty. Wow, these guys used to make excellent wheat wines. This isn't up there.

Tap at Kalahana. Hazy bright gold, with lace. Nose is pineapple, pine, grapefruit. Soft, low carbonation, nice fruity flavor. Not a huge juicy monster but nothing negative.

Tap at the Watering Hole. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is weak. Can't get much at all. Golden ale, light malt sweetness. Bit of citrus. Taste is nice, malty, bit if sweetness, not so much excitement. But pretty nice. Little bit of fruit.

Tap at iBrew. Amber coloured, small off-white head. Taste is quite sweet, lots of fruit, but sweetness too, maybe even honey. Aroma is interesting, honey again. Quite like it, but it feels more tripel like rather than pale.
