Bottle. Plenty of hops and plenty of malts, almost too much. Verges on being chewy. Less than the clean follow-through of a Two-Hearted, for example. But still tasty. Hazy, dark amber pour. Off-white, frothy head. Suprisngly light aroma β sweet with malts, caramel and cookie, with hints of grapefruit and resin. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter, turning slightly more bitter in the long, somewhat sticky finish. Medium body, fizzy carbonation. Dry finish.

12 oz. bottle. Rather malty/bready aroma with a light citrus whiff. Amber color with a decent beige head. Medium bodied with coarse carbonation. Starts with citrus hop, followed by roasted malt. Turns freshly fruity for a moment, then finishes with tag ends of malt and more than tag ends of bitter. Very refreshing and drinkable. Seems well balanced.

(355 ml bottle at Haket, GΓΆteborg) On April 23, 2008. Clear copper color, tan head. Odd aroma, applesauce, malt, sweet. Sweet, butterscotch, candycorn taste. Spritzy mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Really strange, wonβt buy this one again.

Bottle. Rich malty aroma with a touch of grassy hop. Amber color with a temporary beige head. Near medium body with fizzy carbonation. Roasted caramel with a minimal amount of grassy hop. Rather more tasty than one might think. They should get a downgrade for describing this as an ale, but generosity is a good thing. Finish is mildly sweet with perhaps a note of tobacco.

Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is all things coffee. Some dark chocolate seep though but coffee takes over. Flavor is burnt coffee with some roasted nuts and chocolate. If this brewer was going for a "coffee-breakfast" stout they were spot on. A good stout for coffee lovers but those not a fan of the morning bean may be turned off by the strong coffee aspects.

Bottle. Aromas of caramel malt and multiple hops. Sort of mahogany color with a rocky 4-finger head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is slightly roasted caramel with a lot of hop. I vote pine and floral. Finish is dry and bitter. High IBUs no doubt. Mouthsmackingly good.

Bottle. LIve one. Zoomed out of the bottle. Almost vinous aroma, definitely chocolate. Very dark brown color with a two or three finger fluffy head. Flavor starts very chocolate. Moves on to a bit of malt. Whole wheat bready sort of drink. Finish is pretty well balanced. Not getting particular hop, but it is not really sweet. Sort of a nutty light porter kind of thing. Really good, whatever it is.
