bottle - Pours dark brown with a thin tan head and a light chocolate malt aroma. The roast malt flavor has some light chocolate and coffee notes. It’s medium bodied at best and could stand to be more robust in both body and flavor intensity. It finishes mildly dry and I guess overall I’d say it’s alright.

Pours hazy yellow with small white head. It smells of citrus and yeast. The flavor is sweet citrus and this light bodied, refreshing beer has a clean finish. It’s nothing special, but I thought the fruit notes came through very well and overall it’s an enjoyable beer.

bottle - Pours light amber with a one finger head. It has a mild, malt aroma. The flavor is lightly toasted caramel malt and a bit of hops. It’s light bodied and while drinkable and not offensive at all, quite unremarkable.

Bottled, thanks omhper. Yellowish golden colour, not much head. Aroma is wheat, citrus fruits as well as some slight notes of herbs. Flavour is banana, wheat, some spices and citrus fruits. Mildly bready/yeasty notes in the finish and aftertaste. Refreshing, but quite standard. Good attempt at a German Hefeweizen by a US brewer though.

355ml bottle as Mackinac Summer Ale, 5% ABV, shared with Finn. Amber coloured body with a beige, bubbly head. Inviting smell of juicy malts. Sweet taste of dry fruits with apricot notes. Refreshing [Tromsø, 22.11.2008].

Bottle at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Hazy amber color. An easy Ale, sweetish, a bit soapy, some nice caramel, not much hop, but not bad.

On tap at MBC. Hazy yellow-orange body, thin, disappearing off-white head. Tangy, grassy wheat nose. Tangy, almost lemony body, grassy, with hay and esters. Light clove. Finishes bitter. Refreshing, simple beer.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Label claims 7.25% ABV. Warm deep amber golden with a dense off-white head. Sweetish aroma of burned caramel and good aroma hops. Medium-bodied with sweetish burned caramel, fruit and lovely peachy hop accents in the finish with a dry bitterness. A very neat American IPA. 210908

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of joergen. Comes as "Michigan Mackinac Summer Ale". Clear warm dark amber golden with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Medium body with caramel and fruits and a fairly hoppy finish. 180808
