Description
Commenced Brewing in 2013 on the experimental brewing plant at Bath Brewery. Brewery taken on by St Austell after buy out of Bath Ales. Following the relocation of the main brewery, brewing ceased of Beerd beers although a couple have been incorporated into the standard range.

Draught @ Woolshed, Helsinki. Pours orange with a tiny head. Aroma of caramely malts, hints of grass and citrus. Taste is sweetish, stuffy and caramely malty with some toffee, grass and citrus. Finish is sweet, malty and caramely with some stuffy notes, hints of bitterness. A bit unbalanced.

Cask handpump at The Grapes, Wednesday 2nd December 2015. Pours dark brown with a filmy off white head. The nose suggests that this is going to be quite traditional toffee and caramel laden affair and guess what, it is. Lots of toffee in the mouth, some dark molasses, malt driven (lots of crystal malt here) fruity heavy toffee first beer but good. A6 A5 T7 P3 Ov13 3.4

Cask gravity at the Watford beer festival 2015. Mostly clear orange amber coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head . aroma is sticky toffee. Light caramel, grassy, sticky resinous hop. Light vanilla. Flavour is composed of caramel biscuit malts, grassy. Pine hops with a little hop resin. Palate is medium sticky, semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Semi dry finish.

Draught @ Woolshed, Helsinki. Pours yellowish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fruits, citrus, grass and lemon. Taste is crisp, mildly hoppy and grassy with some citrus and pine. Finish is crisp, grassy and mildly citrusy with hints of fruits. Okay.

Cask-conditioned at No.1 Harbourside, Bristol 24/9/2015. Pale amber with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of citrus hops, crisp malts and a touch of caramel sweetness. Flavour had plenty of fruit, solid biscuity malts and a dryish finish. Enjoyable drinking.

On tap at the Gryphon, Bristol 22/9/2015. Slightly hazy gold with a tight, white, head, and a touch of fizz. Aroma of floral hops, a hint of spice and lemon. Flavour had more citrus fruits, a yeasty edge, peppery kick and dryish finish. Good.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy citrus finish.

Keg at the commercial rooms Bristol. Hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is subdued light grains, honey and lemon cif. Flavour is composed if light grains and rough grapefruit citrus bitterness. Little grassy in the finish. Not much balance to this beer. Palate is highish carbonation, semi crisp, little wheat grains. Not a fan.

Keg at the commercial rooms Bristol. Medium hazed golden orange coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is nice citrus lemon, mango and passion fruit hops, nice and juicy on the nose. Flavour is composed of bitter citrus lemon and grapefruit hops with background peach and Mellon. Crisp vase malts with a powdery dry finish. Palate is crisp, highish carbonation. Assertive hop bitterness. Good APA approaching IPA.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 15/9/2015. Amber with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of spicy hops, citrus fruits and a whiff of pine. Flavour had some cereal malts, tangerine fruits and a dent, bitter, finish. good.
