Keg at the Bootlegger, 10/05/16. Clear golden orange with a well appointed off White head. Nose is orange rind, light honey, grain, soft bread, airy malts. Taste comprises tangerine, lemon, touch of caramel, bread dough, light floral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Drinkable but lacking hop profile for the style.

Cask handpump at Beerd/Grapes, Oxford, 3rd May 2016 Dark brown beer with a rim of bubbles. Plenty of smokiness in the mouth and on the nose. Perhaps there is a little sausagey element. Served a touch warm. Fine. A7 A3 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 8/4/2016. Medium brown in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of smoked malts, caramel, red berries, and leafy hops. Flavour of bacon, roasted malts and candied fruits, leading to a smoky finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2016. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Typically sweet Bath Ales aroma, with some citrus fruits and a touch of grassy hop. Flavour was very sweet malts, with caramel, more fruit, and a moderately bitter finish. So so.
